Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great Alice in Chains songs but this one is my favorite to play. I am not exactly sure why but I just really enjoy playing it with the band. The groove is simple but it fits so well into the music and I really appreciate that as a musician first, drummer second. The hits in the chorus are very powerful and the quick change in dynamics give the song nice shape. I’ve honestly missed some of the changes in a few shows because I get so into the song. I don’t know what it is but I dig it.
